Our main vision is to turn high-calorie processed temptations – both salty and sweet into their healthy protein version with unique flavors.
HOW DID WE START?
At the end of 2019, our founder – Jasmina, as a competitor and national champion in the post-preparation season was looking for the perfect “fit” type of sweet. She had tried all the protein bars and desserts on the Bulgarian market and could not find one with great taste and texture, quality protein, no added sugars and suitable macronutrients. So we decided to create it collectively.
The result from our first attempts was a fragrant, sweet, balanced, filling and soft protein bite, which we loved. We enriched it with a Bulgarian rose because we want our tastes to combine Bulgarian and exotic notes that together excite the senses.
We put in a lot of effort and managed to transfer our knowledge to an industry in which we (yet) had no experience, but saw significant potential.
In July 2020, we became the first company supported by Innovation Starter Accelerator.
Our original recipe for protein bites was protected by a utility model registered in the Patent Office of the Republic of Bulgaria.
After our initial successes on the Bulgarian market, we looked at the global market as well and became one of the 15 companies participating in the first edition of Export Hub Bulgaria.
In 2021, we managed to build on our success further by attracting partners with experience in the FMCG sector, including Ms. Svetla Lesova, who is a former CEO of Mondelez Bulgaria.
Together, we the Cardinals continue to create protein innovations, as well as to support Bulgarian sports and physical activity among the young people. Thank you for supporting our sweet adventure!
